1. Desktop Cleanup
Before applying any tweaks, it’s important to declutter your desktop for a more professional and organized look. We recommend moving your icons to the bottom-center of the screen for easy access and a cleaner layout.
For a completely minimalist look, you can hide all icons by right-clicking on the desktop, selecting View, and clicking Hide desktop icons.
2. Wallpaper
For this setup, we selected a minimalistic mountain scenery at sunrise—clean and simple, yet full of character. It complements the overall design while adding a touch of personality to the desktop.
If you prefer something more dynamic, you can opt for an animated wallpaper using Wallpaper Engine. However, we chose to keep it simple to maintain a sleek and distraction-free aesthetic.
3. Seelen UI and installation
Once you’ve downloaded the application, the dock and top bar will install automatically. However, some settings need adjustment to ensure the best experience.
For instance, enabling the Windows Manager significantly boosts your multitasking capabilities by arranging windows more efficiently. You can also fine-tune the appearance by opting for smaller icons on the dock or activating the sleek island look for the top bar.

4. Seelen UI features overview
Once everything is installed correctly, you’ll have access to all the fantastic features Selen UI offers. The sleek top bar provides quick access to essential system settings, such as the system tray and sound controls, while the dock-style taskbar includes a handy media player, making your setup both functional and unique.

For this setup, we selected two widgets:
- A Weather Widget, which is simple to configure and keeps you updated on the forecast.
- A Finance Widget, perfect for tracking market trends or personal finances.
BeWidgets also allows customization of backgrounds, fonts, transparency, and other visual settings. We recommend a white color with partial transparency for a clean and modern look.
