OK — been using this thing for maybe a few months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so thought I’d write something up since a mate asked me a few days back. Am in the UK, mainly bet football and racing, nothing mad, just so you know where I’m coming from.

How I found it was honestly embarrassing — I couldn’t ever work out what an e/w payout actually was once you get five places instead of three. Basically I’d wing it and moan when the payout landed. Now punch the numbers in before I place anything, even a straight one-selection punt.

The single bet calculator tool is the bit I’m on daily — you drop in your stake, the odds and you get returns straight away, fractions or decimals. It also handles the multiples — acca and treble maths, a lucky 15, yankees, and that’s where I’d always got it wrong. Have a go yourself, it’s over at bet accumulator — free, no signup.

One thing that really made a difference was the more serious extras. The odds-to-probability calculator and it makes obvious what margin’s baked in, and there’s the kelly criterion calculator — I use half kelly since full stakes are a quick route to a dead bankroll. The dutching one gets used a fair bit when I’m spreading across selections.

Not all sunshine though. The layout feels a bit basic — zero frills, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. On my phone it’s fine though the acca grid are a squeeze. And no proper app, it’s browser only — fine by me just flagging it.

Right, that’s me. Doesn’t cost anything, barely any ads, works. Anyone who even now does the maths on paper, try it — saves me plenty of arguments with the bookie.
